New Year's Eve Fancy Dress: Japanese Anime Girl
If you follow me on Instagram you may well have seen what I wore on New year's Eve – I decided to become Japanese anime this year!
Whilst I am a big fancy dress fan, I haven't been to a fancy dress party since I started the weblog, and then it had to be something I thought you guys would similar 😉
The thought simply came about considering I was ordering a few bits from ASOS and for some reason decided to browse the wig section (I think I was thinking about the gorgeous bloggers Aminta and Frassy who are both wig fans) – I just added the pink ombre wig to the basket on a whim. I didn't have any intention of keeping information technology, I simply wanted to attempt it on for fun… merely I absolutely LOVED it. Then I institute out my mum was hosting an impromptu fancy dress party for New year's day – and an outfit instantly sprang to mind.
Apart from the wig and stockings (ordered off eBay), everything was stuff I had anyway. The dress has been seen on the web log here and hither (although I tacked the hem upward a chip to shorten it), and my mum had some tartan fabric which I cut into a strip to brand the bow. My make upwardly – mimicking the huge eyes of anime characters – was my best try copied off "living" anime girl Anastasiya Shpagina – if you lot haven't seen this daughter yet y'all should cheque her out. All at once beautiful merely reeeeeally creepy.
I at present only accept to recall of some way of incorporating this wig into my everyday attire…!
Wig: ASOS, Dress: Karen Millen (quondam), Shirt: Unknown, Tights: eBay, Heels: Next, Neck tie: DIY from a scrap of fabric, Nails: Nails Inc Bling It On Feathers
